Fiat Panda 4x4 Offroader Concept, 1980, by Italdesign. Presented at the Turin Motor Show, this was Giugiaro’s first prototype for an all wheel drive Panda. The patent for the transverse engine 4x4 mechanism was licensed to Fiat immediately after the show allowing them to start making the car in 1983.
